Well, ladies, it’s that time again. After taking a brief summer hiatus, it’s time to get back to Bikini Bod Bootcamp!! That’s right, starting in mid-September, we will be resuming our group workouts. We will be embarking on another 12-week journey through a whole slew of new workouts just in time to beat that holiday bulge. Pumpkin Spice Lattes and Peppermint Milkshakes have no chance this fall!
Now, before I get into the logistics of how bootcamp is going to work this time around, I want to take a minute to remind all of us about the reason we do this bootcamp thang. Sure, it’s nice to look goooood in a bikini, but there’s so much more to it than that. As the women who participated the in the first round can attest, the hard work put in has much richer payoffs than that of a toned torso.
The reason we work so hard has much more to do with strength and empowerment than it does our waistlines. The confidence that is built upon week by week by each of these women has the power to transform lives. The increase in energy we feel as our bodies become healthier allow us to be better wives, mothers, friends, employees. And, the relationships built between women who are sweating it out together, one burpee at a time, are precious and unique. We are far stronger than we think, and with a little bit of determination, we learn that along the way.
So, here’s how it’s going to work this fall.
First of all, I’m super excited to announce that I’m officially in the process of getting my personal training certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine! This means I’ll have even more motivating anatomical ammo to fire at you as we fatigue our muscles, lungs, and brains!
Next, I can’t wait to tell you that Reagan will be helping me facilitate! Now, there are a few reasons you should be stoked about this too:
- This will allow us to meet 3 times/week, EVERY week! We’re going to tag-team which means you get a wider selection of meeting times to help fit your busy schedule.
- Reagan has graciously orchestrated on-site childcare for our Wednesday evening sessions. So, Mamas, let me know if this is something that interests you and we’ll get you the deets. We can’t offer this service for free, but cost will be minimal!
- She’s as dedicated as they come and wants to see each and every one of us succeed!
If you’ve never participated in Bikini Bod Bootcamp before, now’s your chance to join in! I can’t promise it’ll be fun (that’s something you’ll have to decide on your own ), but I can promise that it’ll be transformative and an excellent investment of your time and energy. All of the workouts are tailored to various fitness levels, so no matter where you are, there’s a place where you’ll fit right in! I’ll email them to you every week even if you live in Timbuktu!)
For those of you who participated last time, either in person or virtually, you can expect an email from me today with some additional details. This is where you can opt IN for the upcoming round and let me know what days/times work best for you.
So, start looking at your schedules for the Fall and do yourself a favor by carving out some time to become a better you. It will be well worth it, I promise!
